Fuckin A!
So the Bullshit is only getting worse. It seems that now the children�s specialist is now talking behind my back. She is telling the patrons that I am no longer willing to assist them with ANY of their computer questions/problems, and I can only imagine what lies she has been telling the Bossman. Not that he would know the truth�he�s never fuckin here.
That�s it�I am done with her. Today I plan on sitting down with my old Boss Lady, and the new Boss man to discuss what is going to be done about this. And if that does not work, I will continue up the chain to the Library Head if need be. I am not going to sit still for this. Sides�if I loose my job cause I get too nasty�I can always go to San Francisco right
Things are going to have to change or I will be requesting a transfer. I cannot and will not work with this stupid bitch. Keep poking the bear�I double dog dare you.
So I just got off the phone with my old Bosslady, and she is appalled. Glad that I talked to her first, cause she if nothing else I know that she will provide good council for dealing with this situation. I was VERY ready to confront the CS (children�s specialist) about her recent behavior, lying, and slack behavior�but the Bosslady said I should first let her (bosslady) talk to the Bossman again, and then I should sit down and have a serious conversation with the Bossman (I have also been �elected� to represent the concerns and frustrations of the other 4 employees here) �and then if nothing positive happens we go to the Director. Yeah, it�s true�I am beginning to gather my big guns. Sigh�this is going to get SO ugly. But I will not�cannot tolerate this behavior of hers any longer. I will keep yall posted�Must control fist of death��
So�I just finished class�ugh. I had 4 students, 2 of which did not attend yesterday�s class (the schedule DOES say that today�s class was an extension of yesterdays). So I had to give a crash review to try and catch the 2 new students up with the others. Sigh�Someone please�hammer�crowbar�cordless drill I don�t care�anything, just put me out of my misery.
And I thought that yesterday was bad. 3 of the 4 students were wonderful. They were attentive, they tried hard, they were resourceful. But the other�sigh�Fuckin A!
I swear, she was as helpless as they come. She did not listen, I don�t think she could read, she was uber-needy, and worst of all she was starting to piss off the rest of the class. EVERY FUCKING INSTRUCTION that I gave she felt the need to ask �What do I do? Is this right? I don�t understand�� Today we focused on slide transitions and animations. We did a gazillion of them. But each time I had to hold her fuckin hand and walk her though the steps. So halfway through class I stopped, and began saying things like�do the same thing you did just a few minutes ago. No�read the screen. What does that say. Does that say transition? No�then find the words in that menu that read SLIDE TRANSITION. I managed to loose all patience with her and still not get mean. And here is what makes all of this a trillion times worse. She has taken all of these classes before. EVERY FUCKIN THING I OFFER! She has taken at least 5 times apiece. But she still does not know what the menu bar is, or how to highlight, or how to click, right click, click and drag�I mean for fuck�s sake! What am I supposed to do? Smile�and try my best. Yeah that�s right�I just have to suck it up, because I am a public servant. But perhaps if I quit holding her hand, if I quit enabling her learned helplessness she will stop coming to my classes. I guess I can only hope�
Oh, btw the only reason I was able to keep my sanity in class today was because the other 3 students were a dream to work with!
So today I learned that�um I learned that. Crap�what HAVE I learned? Hmm�I learned that�Well crap. I haven�t learned anything yet today. I had best get moving to remedy that. Guess I am off to do some serious surfing�er�researching.
